From September 11th. until November 13th. Towell Knowledge Institute has successfully delivered two 20 hour Hospitality English Courses to 25 of the 5 Star Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort and Spa’s most dedicated employees.
The courses were expertly coordinated by Miss Nali Rattanajit and Miss Janette from the Shangri – la and delivered by TKI’s British English Trainer Mrs. Lindsay Syed.
The trainees prepared polished and interesting dialogues for the booking office, reception, customer service, housekeeping, kitchen, bar, restaurant, security, the health club and spa and the children’s centre. They studied grammar and verb forms, form filling, letter writing, giving and receiving instructions and directions etc.
Highlights included informative research regarding the prestigious collection of classic cars in the Al Bandar Museum and a wonderful celebration and certificate presentation ceremony yesterday afternoon attended by both #TowellKnowledgeInstitute and Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort and Spa Division Head and General Manager.
The ceremony ended with a fun and motivational song entitled “ At the 5 Star Shangri – La.” to the tune of the Teddy Bear’s Picnic!
