EDIC First Aid BasicPlus CPR, AED, and First Aid for adults is an objectives-driven, skills based training program. The program uses a proven seeing, hearing, speaking, feeling and doing approach to make learning easier and more enjoyable.

– Head, Neck, or Back Injury
– Swollen, Painful, Deformed Limb

– Poisoning
– Heat Exhaustion
– Heat Stroke
– Hypothermia

– Emergency Response Teams in business and industry
– School bus drivers
– Security guards

Demonstrations and Practices
Basic CPR Skills
– Chest Compressions
– Rescue Breaths – CPR shield
– Primary Assessment- Unresponsive Person

Basic Life Support Care
– Unresponsive and Breathing- Recovery Position
– Unresponsive and Not Breathing – CPR Using an AED

Foreign Body Airway Obstruction
– Choking

Caring For serious Injury
– Control of Bleeding
– Using Commercial Tourniquets
– Using Improvised Tourniquets
– Spinal Motion Restriction
– Swollen , Painful , Deformed Limb
– Using Improvised Rigid Splint

Caring For Sudden Illness
– Using Metered-Dose Inhalers
– Using EpiPen Auto-Injectors

Upon successful completion of the program, trainees will be awarded BasicPlus Successful Completion (Certificate) by Medic First Aid.
