Going forward in its CSR strategy towards contributing for the community, Towell Knowledge Institute will be conducting a training program in the areas of customer service, business communications and general administration for job seekers (Male & Female) with high school certificate (12th standard). Such training shall qualify the job seekers to work in various positions such as receptionist, front desk assistants or even customer service ambassadors. The course will be delivered without any charges to the trainees.

The course consists of (65) contact training hours, to be covered in a period of (3) weeks. The initial stage of the training shall initiate in April 2018 with a total of (50) trainees, divided into (2) batches. The course comprises of (3) major areas:

– English language for Business.
– Basic IT & Computer Skills.
– Customer Service Skills.

This course comes in line with the institute’s policy and its supportive orientation to serve the community with its various categories based on the principle of community responsibility as its one of its main pillars of work.

Tawfiq Al-Lawati, Institute Director added: “… as part of our CSR strategy, we allocate part of our training activities to support the community in many aspects, particularly delivering free foundation training programmes for job seekers, especially for those who live away from Muscat, in order to make them qualified for the local labor market in commensurate with their abilities and professional and academic competence. During the last 2 years, the Institute has trained about (800) job seekers… ”.
